Honeymoon Villa with Private Pool

The Honeymoon Villa is the most private room at Ymoon Resorts, set apart from the rest of the property for couples who would rather not hear anybody else. It was designed for one thing: privacy, and the particular quiet that comes with it.

The villa

You come in to an elegantly furnished bedroom with warm wooden interiors and plush bedding, arranged around a king size bed. The room opens through to an indoor plunge pool that belongs to the villa alone — no booking it, no sharing it, no walking through the resort in a towel. Large windows fill the space with daylight, and a private balcony looks straight out over the greenery of the Western Ghats.

What is included

Air conditioning throughout, free high-speed Wi-Fi, a mini fridge and an electric kettle, a wardrobe with a luggage rack, and an attached bathroom with hot water available twenty-four hours a day. Complimentary breakfast is included with select stay plans — the inclusions are confirmed when you book.

Who it suits

Honeymooners, anniversaries, and couples who have had enough of being sociable. It is not the room for a family — the mountain view and valley view suites are sized for that — and it is at its best when you plan to spend real time in it rather than treating it as somewhere to sleep between excursions.

Around the villa

The resort sits in Vellamunda in northern Wayanad, so the campfire, the outdoor BBQ, the swimming pool and the tea estate walks are all a short stroll away when you do want to come out. Banasura Sagar Dam, Kuruva Island and Thirunelly Temple are among the closest of Wayanad's attractions to this side of the district.
